Error message during update check

If an error message with the text Error during update check appears during the update check, a Windows Internet setting is preventing the update information from being downloaded. Please perform the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. Open the settings dialog in SpeedCommander, switch to the Advanced – Applications & Internet page, and click the Properties button.
2. In the Internet Properties dialog, switch to the Advanced page.
3. In the settings list in the Security category, disable the Do not save encrypted pages to disk option.
4. Click OK to close the dialog box.
