Accessing tablets and smartphones

Only devices that have a drive letter are displayed in the drive bar. Tablets and smartphones are usually integrated into the system without a drive letter and therefore do not have an entry in the drive bar.

Please switch to the desktop folder via the drive letter 0 and then continue to the folder Computer or, from Windows 8.1 onwards, to the folder This PC. The device should then be displayed here. For faster access, you can also set up a folder favorite for the device and then quickly switch to the corresponding folder via this favorite.

The display of devices without drive letters is only possible from SpeedCommander 13 onwards.
