Why does my activation code no longer work?
The answer depends on the version of SpeedCommander you are using.
SpeedCommander 17 and newer
First, check that you have entered the correct activation code for your version. The first four characters in the activation code must match the installed version. If you encounter problems with product activation, please send an email with your activation code to license@speedproject.de.
SpeedCommander 16 and older
The most common cause of errors is confusing the activation code with the serial number. The activation code is used to convert the trial version of SpeedCommander into a full version. The activation code is used to convert the trial version of SpeedCommander into a full version. The serial number is generated from the activation code, which you can use to register with us as a user. You will also need the serial number for support requests. However, only the activation code can be used to convert the trial version into a full version.

The activation codes up to and including SpeedCommander 12 contain upper and lower case letters. Therefore, please ensure that you enter the correct upper and lower case letters. From SpeedCommander 13 onwards, the activation code only contains numbers and upper case letters.
It is also important that the activation code matches the downloaded version. For example, if you have purchased an activation code for SpeedCommander 21, this activation code can only be used to activate the trial version of SpeedCommander 21. It cannot be used to activate a trial version of SpeedCommander 22.
